Am I the world’s worst wife?

I hope you are having a luscious start to the year wherever you are in the world. Right now I’m in sunny, hot Australia, living at the coast with my new husband. Adjusting to married life has been… challenging. Mostly because I’ve realized that – I am perhaps the world’s worst “wife”. >> I don’t clean (I have a cleaner) >> I’m not that interested in cooking >> I’ve been letting my mother-in-law (who’s staying with us) do our laundry >> And I don’t even have the excuse of “having to work hard” in my business (because I rarely do […]

The holiday season really took its toll! Here’s my 2019 resolution….

If (like me) you’ve lost yourself over the holiday season & your new year needs a big infusion of getting back to YOU, then I’ve got just the suggestion…. The sincerest & empowering way to devote to YOU is to BE in your body & MOVE your body. Embodied movement – a practice we call Primal Feminine Flow – is one powerful tool every woman can use (at home) to experience this deep devotion.  This movement practice is not designed to burn calories… But it works a treat for connecting you back into YOU. My 2019 resolution is to commit […]

Ever been told “you’re too sensitive” – The blessing & curse of being a feeling, sensitive woman

Ever been told “you’re too sensitive”? Ever felt like you feel so much, that perhaps it’s too much? There is a term for these sensitive people amongst us – HSP. Highly Sensitive Person. I’m one of them. You likely are too. In fact, I’d argue every single human with a feeling body is a highly sensitive person (if we choose to be, more on that later). But we live in a world that de-values sensitivity…. Sensitivity is a “character flaw” In general western culture the idea of sensitivity is (to my mind at least) often linked with ‘overreacting’. If someone […]

March 2019 Feminine Embodiment Coaching Enrollment Now Open

Q: Is it genuinely possible to go from no coaching experience or skills to successful enrolling, delivering & charging clients (up to 4 figures) for feminine embodiment coaching, within 6 months? A: When we first offered the Feminine Embodiment Coaching Certification in December 2017 I knew, deep down it was possible. Theoretically, I knew that a woman who was committed to learning the skills of feminine embodiment coaching, & who was really ready to take it forward into a business – could do it. But then when it happened. When I witnessed multiple students offering their coaching packages & drawing […]

Working Hard, the Myth of Meritocracy & Magnetism

There was a time I thought the harder I worked, the more I could achieve. Like many in our western culture, I prioritized productivity over everything else. My body never liked it this way of operating. Tension in my shoulders, grinding teeth, tight jaw – all the symptoms of internal disharmony were present. There is a lie we’re all sold, it’s called the myth of meritocracy. Meritocracy is the belief that power and opportunities are gained because of merit. By extension of this (collective) belief, many of us were raised to adopt the (non-conscious) story that hard work = success. […]

Why do you leave your body?? The mechanics of dis-embodiment

Last time I shared I’ve been feeling dis-embodied lately. In reply I received so many beautiful emails, confessions and me-too’s (a deep thank you to every woman who wrote). Dissociation and numbing can creep up on every human from time to time.
It’s what we do about it that matters. Personally, settling is never something I will never be complicit in. Living life with the volume turned down is not an option for me. Feeling life is happening at a distance – is not okay with me. When these (very natural) periods happen I believe it’s important to be honest […]
